Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Sales Agent to help grow the reach and impact of our ministry. In this role, you will promote our facilities and programs to churches, schools, ministries, and community organizations. You will play a vital part in helping groups discover the unique experience of our camp and conference center, from summer camps and spiritual retreats to leadership conferences and special events.


Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
    • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
    • 3-4 years’ experience in sales and reservation or related professional area.
    • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and organization skills
    • Detail and service oriented
    • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)

Qualifications

  • A commitment to the mission and values of the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventist and Camp Kulaqua.
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, and customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to travel for meetings, presentations, and events may be required.
  • Present a neat, clean and professional personal appearance consistent with company standards at all times.
  • Successful track record in sales and client acquisition

Job Responsibilities:
    • Proactively promote the camp’s services, including retreats, conference bookings, and facility rentals.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with Adventist churches, schools, conference leaders, and external community organizations.
    • Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
    • Conduct sales presentations and tours of the Camp for prospective clients.
    • Represent the camp at events, trade shows, and community gatherings.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and returning clients, answering inquiries and assisting with the booking process.
    • Prepare sales reports, track leads, and monitor booking trends.
    • Understand and effectively communicate camp offerings, pricing, and availability.
    • Support the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in all communications and interactions.
    • Seek new opportunities to expand the camp’s network and increase utilization of facilities.
    • Negotiate and complete contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
