Job Summary:
Forest Lake Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher who can provide individualized tutoring and remedial support to students who may be struggling with math. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach and tutor in a variety of math subjects, including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Financial Algebra.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Prior teaching and tutoring experience, especially in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Financial Algebra.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for helping students develop their math skills and reach their full potential.
• Ability to provide tailored, one-on-one support to students in a patient and encouraging manner.
• A commitment to fostering a positive, Christ-centered learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Teach and or tutor students in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Financial Algebra.
• Provide individualized or small group support for students who need additional help mastering math concepts.
• Design and implement effective instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Track student progress and work closely with the department to identify areas where additional support is needed.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment for students of all abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student growth and success.
