Job Summary:
The registrar maintains the academic record of all students and plans and implements the registration process. He or she works with the administrators to coordinate times and locations for classes and resolve scheduling conflicts. This position will coordinate student data, grades, attendance, and all other academic data of the students. Other responsibilities include keeping records of all classes and curriculum prerequisites, working with the guidance counselor to determining students' graduation eligibility and progress, planning graduation activities and preparing information such as honors lists, transcripts, etc. This position reports to school administration.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
  • The registrar must be familiar and comfortable with changing technology.
  • A bachelor's degree is required. Expertise in FACTS (RenWeb), Canvas, and Step Up scholarship is necessary. 
  • One to five years of experience in a related area are preferred. 
  • The registrar should be able to work with a variety of people and have exceptional communication skills.
  • He or she should be highly organized and be able to quickly adapt to change. An attention to detail is also necessary. 
  • The registrar facilitates the movement of students through their programs, ensuring that records are properly kept, class scheduling is completed, and scholarship and grant information is disseminated.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain academic records of all students
  • Administer student data within FACTS (RenWeb) and Canvas - incl. family information, medical information, pick-up and drop off lists, and emergency contact information
  • Maintain class rosters and attendance reports
  • Prepare transcripts and report cards Keep track of student progress toward graduation
  • Communicate with families regarding student academics
  • Maintain student files and all required school forms
