Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will be primarily responsible for Laserfiche administration, including managing records for new and departing employees, document management, and ensuring data accuracy across our systems. This role is essential for maintaining the seamless operation of our HR department, requiring a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
  • Knowledge of principles, policies and beliefs of the Florida Conference and the Seventh day Adventist Church.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate (verbal and written) in English with vendors, co workers, visitors and management. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Bi-lingual in Spanish helpful.
  • Knowledge and proven skills in office procedures and intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and ADOBE acrobat), data entry, filing, telephone techniques, and English usage (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.).
  • Ability to perform basic office duties with high accuracy and acceptable speed.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform all job duties with minimum supervision; ability to work under pressure and with many interruptions.
  • Ability to foster communication among departmental staff, employees from other departments and outside personnel.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Laserfiche support:
    • Opening/activating/deactivating new/discontinued applicants on Laserfiche
    • Savings documents to Laserfiche
  • Address updates in ESS
  • Confirming all active employees in Sage have FLC email address
  • Credential update in Sage
  • Run sage reports as needed
  • Help with set up and take down of HR events
  • Back up support to HR Support Specialists
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Pay Rate: $18.79 - $25.50 hourly
