Job Summary:
The accountant clerk is responsible for keeping detailed and accurate financial records for the camp and will need to work well with both staff and Accounting Director. Also, the accounting clerk will assist camp with all financial issues, including handling reconciliations, data entry, and analysis on accounts receivables and accounts payables. The accounting clerk needs to be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church and attend church on a regular basis.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Generate and send out invoices
    • Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
    • Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines and guidelines
    • Perform account reconciliations
    • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
    • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
    • Maintain account files and records
    • Process credit card payments
    • Prepare bank deposits
