REPORTS TO: Executive Pastor

DIRECT REPORT(S): Church Administrator

PURPOSE: Provide Excellence in Facility Management

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
  • Excellent Verbal Communication Skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to Work Varied Hours Dependent on the Reservation Calendar & Other Duties
  • Strong Maintenance Skills
  • Ability to Safely Use a Wide Variety of Tools
  • Ability to Lift and Carry 30–50 lbs Repeatedly (Folding tables can be heavy)
  • Ability to Stand, Bend, and Walk for Extended Periods
  • Manual Dexterity for Locking/Unlocking Table Legs and Folding Mechanisms
  • Ability to Follow Set-up Diagrams or Set-up Instructions
  • Basic Spatial Awareness to Arrange Tables Efficiently
  • Self-Starter, Organized, Detail Oriented, Planning Skills
  • Personable and Considerate
  • Basic Computer/Online Skills
  • Teamwork (Large set-ups are usually done in pairs or groups)
  • Time Management to Meet Set-up Deadlines
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Job Responsibilities:
  • Reservation Coordination for Public and Church Needs
  • Event Set-up/Clean-up Sunday - Thursday
  • Coordination of Team Members for Set-ups/Clean-ups, As Necessary
  • Coordinate Deacon Volunteer Team
  • Cleaning of Church Offices
  • Cleaning of 1st Floor Kitchen
  • Deep Cleaning of All Spaces on a Rotating Basis
  • Inventory, Organize, and Order Cleaning Supplies
  • Linen Reservations and Laundering
  • Ensure Grounds are Maintained
  • Coffee Bar Supplies and Set-up
  • Walk the Property Once Per Week to Identify Needed Repairs or Maintenance
  • Document Maintenance Issues Throughout the WLC Facilities and Grounds
  • Complete Repairs and Maintenance Tasks That Do Not Require Professional Level Skill
  • Coordinate with Vendors for Tasks That Do Require Professional Level Skill
  • Create Scope of Works for Bid Proposals
  • Keep Hallways Clear
  • Manage Lost and Found
  • Other Tasks as Assigned
