Job Summary:
The Nurse must have the ability to respond quickly and responsibly under pressure and in emergency situations . Will respond to Medical Director.
Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
Be a responsible, mature person.
Hold a current Florida Nursing License.
Previous experience encouraged
Job Responsibilities:
Distribute prescription medications; log all medications given and all visits.
Check with departments and teachers that have first aid kits to see that they are properly supplied.
Provide input for emergency procedures for all activity areas.
Assist in transport of injured students or staff to hospital/doctor.
Complete accident reports and in notify parents of injuries.
Promote and practice preventive medicine and safety measures.
Assist in supplying copies of Health Records and Medical Release Forms.
Maintain equipment by cleaning and sanitizing after each use.
